If you are looking to purchase the Schwinn 220 exercise bike and you're wondering where to get the best price then keep reading. I did all the research for you and I will show you how you can save $200 on this bike.
Even though new and fancy exercise equipment comes out every year the recumbent bike has stood the test of time. Quality-made recumbent bikes are comfortable and easy to use for everyone and they can accommodate an easy workout for the beginner and a challenging workout for the seasoned exerciser. The Schwinn 220 is an extremely popular recumbent bike. It gets rave reviews from hundreds of users on several points. Because of its popularity, the Schwinn 220 is sold in several stores online and in-store.
The retail price tag, $499, is a hefty investment. Although if you are serious about exercising you don't want a cheap piece of junk so $499 is a reasonable investment in a good piece of equipment. However, one of my favorite things to do is research and find the best price possible online and then sit back and wait for my purchase to be delivered. Allow me to share what I found.
Poor fellow never joyed since the price of oats rose, it was

Get $200 Off the Price Tag:
If you go directly to the Schwinn website you will find that you can purchase this bike directly from Nautilus but you won't get the best savings. They also give you a list of ten different retailers that carry the Schwinn 220. I researched all of them.
Play It Again Sports is only found in certain areas of the country so we could not obtain a price online. We were also unable to get a price from Direct Buy because they are a membership club and only share prices with their members. Moving on...
Sears was possibly the most disappointing price at a measly $474.99, only $25 off.
I would rather have as my patron a host of anonymous citizens digging into their own pockets for the price of a book or a magazine than a small body of enlightened and responsible men administering public funds. I would rather chance my personal vision of truth striking home here and there in the chaos of publication that exists than attempt to filter it through a few sets of official, honorably public-spirited scruples.

Academy Sports and Outdoors, Dick's, Dunham's, Sports Authority, and Wal-Mart were slightly more competitively priced at $349. But we can still do better.
Two online retailers offered this bike at $200 off.
I have to admit I was drawn in by this online store that I had never heard of before. Mercantila. They offer 110% price guarantee and free shipping. It looked like a good site until I looked further and found many, many terrible reviews about their service. They did also receive some five-star reviews but those were quickly overshadowed by quotes like "worst online shopping experience I have ever had" and "buy at your own risk, stay away." I saw reviews like that over and over and over. The savings are good but it may cost you in customer service. If you want the same savings from a more well-known online retailer then you should take a look at Amazon. Go to Schwinn 220 Exercise Bike where you will find hands down the best price, $200 off, and free shipping from a trusted online seller.
